Slayer Threat Level At Maximum
Armed with a shoulder-mounted flamethrower, retractable wrist-mounted blade, upgraded guns and mods, and various abilities, you’re faster, stronger, and more versatile than ever. The Doom Slayer’s arsenal includes firearms like the Combat Shotgun, Super Shotgun, Heavy Cannon, Rocket Launcher, Plasma Rifle, Chaingun, BFG 9000, Ballista, and the Unmaykr. Melee weapons such as the chainsaw, Crucible Blade energy sword, Sentinel Argent Hammer (Hellbreaker), and the Doomblade can also be used for glory kill executions, providing extra health. The Super Shotgun features the Meat Hook, functioning as a grappling hook.
Unholy Trinity
Take what you need from your enemies: Glory kill for extra health, incinerate for armor, and chainsaw demons for ammo to become the ultimate demon-slayer. The Flame Belch sets enemies on fire to drop armor pickups, and new movement mechanics such as wall-climbing, dash moves, and horizontal bars have been introduced.
Enter Battlemode
A new 2 versus 1 multiplayer experience. A fully-armed DOOM Slayer faces off against two player-controlled demons, fighting in a best-of-five round match of intense first-person combat. The game features several asymmetric multiplayer modes, including Battlemode and Horde mode. There are new types of enemies and a Destructible Demons system, where enemies’ bodies deteriorate as they take damage.
Fortress of Doom
Visit the hub area, Fortress of Doom, between missions. Unlock upgrades, gear, and the bonus weapon Unmaykr after clearing six challenging Slayer Gates.
